Who we are

Meiyan Med Spa (美妍) is inside Duke Medical Clinic at 11511 Garvey Ave, El Monte, CA 91732. In this policy, “we” means Meiyan Med Spa and the clinic team.

What we collect

• When you send us a request or claim an offer: your first and last name, email and mobile number, plus what you choose on the form: the treatments or goal you are interested in, whether you are new or returning, the offer, and a day and time if you pick one.
• If you answer the short questions on our home page: what you would like to improve, your age range, and whether you have had injectables or skin treatments before.
• When you visit any page: like every website, our web host automatically records basic technical details, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you opened and the time. We do not use these to find out who you are.

We do not ask for payment details, insurance or your medical history on this website. Please do not send medical details through a form. We talk about your health in private at your consultation.

How we use it

• To call or text you about your request and set up your visit.
• To email you a copy of your request.
• To help our team prepare for your consultation.
• To apply an offer you claimed.
• To keep the website working and safe.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we never sell it.

Who receives it

When you send a form, this website's own server, at our web host Hostinger, emails your request to the clinic's mailbox, with a copy to the owner's own email and to Blackline Marketing, the agency that runs this website. It normally sends a copy to you too. Your request is not stored on this website. The server only keeps anonymous counters, deleted after about a day, that stop too many requests (spam). Your age range and past-treatment answers are not included in the emails.

• Hostinger, our web host, which runs this website and the clinic's mailbox. It may keep a short record of emails sent. Hostinger's privacy policy
• Blackline Marketing, the agency that runs this website. It gets a copy of each request and helps the clinic answer.
• Google, which provides the email for the owner's and the agency's copies, and shows our map (see “Cookies” below).

We may also share information when the law requires it. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number, we may call or text you about your request and your visits, for example to set a time, confirm it or remind you. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts, or HELP for help. We do not send marketing texts unless you agree to them separately. We never share your mobile number or your consent to texts with other companies for their marketing.

Cookies, browser storage and tracking

• We do not use advertising cookies, analytics, tracking pixels or any cross-site tracking on this website.
• To make the site work, our pages keep a few small items in your own browser: a few notes about the offer pop-ups (whether you have seen, closed or claimed them; kept until you clear your browser data), and, for the open tab only, your answers and choices while you move between steps, pages or languages (cleared when you close the tab). These stay on your device. We cannot see them.
• Some pages, such as the home and Visit pages, show a Google map. When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's Privacy Policy. Links to Google Maps, Google reviews and Instagram take you to those services, which have their own policies.
• Do Not Track: we do not track you across other websites, so the site works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. Apart from the Google map above, we do not let other companies collect information about what you do on our site over time or across other websites.

How long we keep it

Your request stays in our clinic's mailbox for as long as we need it to serve you, or as long as the law requires. If you become a patient, your records are kept as California law requires for medical records. Our web host keeps its technical logs for a short time under its own policy.

Your choices

• To ask what information we have about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it, text 626-501-7315, email info@meiyanmedspa.com, or ask at the front desk. We may need to confirm it is you first. We delete it unless the law requires us to keep it, for example medical records after a treatment.
• To stop texts, reply STOP at any time.

Health information

Once you are our patient, your medical records are protected by California's Confidentiality of Medical Information Act and other medical privacy laws, and are handled as described in the clinic's patient privacy notice, which you receive at your visit.

Children

Our treatments are for adults. This website is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Security

Our pages and forms use an encrypted connection (HTTPS). No method is perfect, so please do not send sensitive health or payment details through the website.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If the change is important, we will also note it at the top of this page.
